Burt's goal is to make the best possible record for the artist, simple really.  Recording and writing music are his passions and the reason he wakes up every morning.  Burt couldn't dream of doing anything else. 

As a Musician, Burt has scored critically acclaimed films (Girls Gone Bad), placed original compositions on primetime network TV (WB, ESPN), and has also managed to throw in session duties (including Guitar, Vocals, Backing Vocals, Bass, etc.) on countless CD's.  As an Engineer, Burt had formal training at LARW and UCLA, along with over 10 years of real world experience, where he feels he had some tremendous mentors.

Steve Ornest - Lead Guitar

Steve Ornest, is an exciting young guitar prodigy from Queens , NY, (who relocated to Los Angeles in the nineties), and is  currently studying music at the Berkeley School of Music. Upon meeting in a previous band, Steve and Troy have recorded together since 2005. Steve has toured extensively nationally and internationally garnering strong credibility as a session musician as well (in addition to being featured in Guitar World Magazine and The Daily Breeze Newspaper, Los Angeles, CA). Steve’s virtuosity is reminiscent of rock players such as Randy Rhodes, George Lynch, and Slash, which is showcased in his lead playing on half of the Slow Burning Car release “Blowback” (Tracks: I Saw The Mountain, Formula I, Suddenly, Respect, First Born, Grave, Slow Burning Car).

Derek Reynolds - Lead Guitar

Derek Reynolds is a guitarist/songwriter from Rhode Island who has performed and recorded in various projects/bands in the Los Angeles area for over ten years. Derek’s versatility as a player can be witnessed (and heard) in the way he incorporates his various influences of jazz, r&b, blues, and rock n roll into a creative style and sound that is all his own. This depth and versatility is showcased in his lead playing on the tracks, “Low” and “Rumbling Chief”.

Bryan Gage - Lead Guitar

Bryan Gage is a guitarist/songwriter from Norwalk, Connecticut, who has fronted and performed in various acts in the Los Angeles area over the last ten years (The Quick & The Dead, Paris Railroad, Midnight Deathtrap, and The Elegant Bastards). Bryan’s influences such as Angus Young and Billy Zoom can be heard through the contribution he made to the Slow Burning Car release, “Blowback”, during his lead on the track “Farkytootle”.

Tracii Guns - Lead Guitar

Tracii Guns, the renown guitarist for 80’s multi-platinum rock act L.A. Guns, in consolation to his long-time fan Troy Spiropoulos, contributed a “spontaneous” lead guitar solo to the track “King Con” (since both gentleman had met and were working on projects within the same building). Tracii has since been named an “honorary agent” of Slow Burning Car due to the encounter.
Corey Birkholz - Rhythm/Lead

Corey graduated from Music Tech (now McNally Smith College of Music), where he studied with Shrapnel recording artist Todd Duane, and has also studied with nationally recognized guitarist Boday. In addition to playing lead, acoustic, and synthesized guitars, Corey has played for various bands and recording projects such as 73 Paces and Psyche. Corey toured with Slow Burning Car as a lead and rhythm guitarist.

Eddie Estudio is an established session musician in the Los Angeles area who has recorded and performed with various R&B and jazz acts throughout the city for over twenty years. He currently sings and plays saxophone in his own project entitled Hush, which performs an assortment of covers and original compositions in the aforementioned genres.

Greg St. John is an orchestrally trained vocalist who has been part of the Los Angeles music scene as a performer, booking agent, and vocal instructor. He has been the founding member and catalyst of the band PopmanBMD which combined electronica with progressive rock. Blessed with an incredibly dynamic and versatile vocal range, Greg’s backing vocals can be heard adding his signature dimension to the track “Slow Burning Car”.

Krista Ray - Backing Vocals

Krista Ray is the co-frontwoman and songwriter of the South Bay (Los Angeles, CA) punk/garage rock act known as The D*Maggs. Her haunting melodies can be heard breathing life into the pulse of the track “King Con”.
Sheila McSherry - Backing Vocals

Agent #5(c)

 

Sheila McSherry is also a co-frontwoman and songwriter of the South Bay (Los Angeles, CA) punk/garage rock act The D*Maggs. Her sultry vocals (in cohesion with Ray’s melodies) are the highlight of the track “King Con”.
