Slow Burning Car is a six-piece rock band from Los Angeles who burst onto the streaming scene in 2007. The band members include Troy Spiropoulos (vocals/bass), Steve Ornest (lead and rhythm guitar/backing vocal), Tommy Marcel (guitar), Krista Ray (vocals), Zak St. John (drums/backing vocals) and Aaron Kusterer (guitar).

Having thoroughly established themselves within the music industry, Slow Burning Car have toured nationally and internationally, received airplay (terrestrial/internet), and have licensed music for the film Crash Artist (Cinebyte Productions 2008). Although they receive creative inspiration from a number of artists, Slow Burning Car combines a variety of elements to form their unique and authentic sound.

Slow Burning Car have five albums in their Spotify discography. Some of their most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Public Cynic’, ‘Lad-Ish Man’ and ‘Slow Burning Car’. With a growing number of followers and listeners, there is no denying the fact that Slow Burning Car is developing a dedicated following of loyal fans.

The upcoming album, ‘Projection’ by Slow Burning Car, is available on SoundCloud and will be released on all major streaming platforms! The album consists of ten tracks and lasts around fifty-eight minutes.

Although ‘Projection’ is technically grouped under one genre classification, each track delivers a diverse range of melodic elements that showcase Slow Burning Car’s songwriting talent; from the driven electric guitar progression, foundational bass-line and rhythmic percussion that provide the perfect platform for the powerful vocal and catchy hook of ‘Public Cynic’, the impressive lead guitar solo, stylistic strings and dynamic spoken word section that immediately grabs the attention of the listener in ‘Memoirs of a Gentleman Ghost’, to the seamless synchronization of numerous instrumental layers that form the depth of ‘Transfer Terminal Twelve’.

From the well balanced production, to the diverse compositional arrangements, to the impressive vocal performances, fans of Slow Burning Car, as well as those who appreciate new music, will definitely want to hear this album. Make sure you follow Slow Burning Car on their social media to keep up to date with their upcoming releases and performances!
