However despite the influences, they craft the songs so it does not make you feel like you are hearing something that sounds like everyone else out there these days. Perhaps it is that unique combination of retro sounds with a modern feel; \u201cDimples\u201d for example sounds like it could have been a hit in the late 80\u2019s\u2026or right now. \u201cCarnaby Shuffle\u201d makes you feel like you are dancing your butt off in a seedy waterfront dive, and having fun doing it. \u201cDay Brightener\u201d proves that they can also handle ballads, not the pretentious hair metal type, but the type with a true vibrance.
